Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: How much is the recycling price for 1980s Moutai and Wuliangye old liquor?
A: The recycling price for single bottles of 1980s Feitian Moutai and Wuxing Moutai can reach five to six figures, depending on the condition of the bottle's ribbon, label, liquor bloom, and evaporation level. Wuliangye "Carrot Bottle" and Fenjiu old bottles also have considerable value. WhatsApp 94530784 to send photos for an instant quote.
Q: If some baijiu has evaporated (volatilized), will you still buy it?
A: Yes. Slight evaporation of old baijiu is normal and serves as proof of natural aging. However, if more than half has evaporated or the seal is broken, an on-site evaluation will be required.
Q: How can I distinguish between genuine and fake old Moutai?
A: Hong K Recycling authenticates from multiple angles, including the outer box, ribbon, label, bottle cap, liquor bloom, and anti-counterfeiting code. 1980s Moutai has specific batch characteristics, such as "Local State-Owned" lettering, a five-star logo, and cotton paper packaging. On-site verification is available.
Q: What are the spray codes and batch numbers on Moutai bottles used for?
A: The spray code records the production date and batch number, which are crucial for authenticating the liquor. The format and font of spray codes vary by era, following specific patterns, and professional appraisers can cross-reference them to verify the authenticity of the liquor.
Q: Is Moutai zodiac commemorative liquor worth collecting?
A: Due to their limited release and thematic collectibility, zodiac commemorative liquors typically have stable appreciation potential. Earlier years (such as 2014 Year of the Horse, 2015 Year of the Goat) have significantly higher recycling prices than their issue prices due to limited existing quantities. Collecting a complete set holds even greater value.
