Moutai, produced exclusively in Maotai Town, Renhuai City, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, China, is the originator of the Daqu (Chinese liquor) sauce-flavor liquor and is renowned as the "National Liquor." With over 800 years of history, Kweichow Moutai's portfolio of varieties and brands has grown exponentially.

The main trademark of the Moutai liquor we often refer to is "Guizhou Moutai Liquor." Traditionally, it has two logos: "Five Star" and "Feitian." Both logos represent identical quality. Alcohol content generally ranges from 38°, 43°, and 53°, and the aroma is a sauce-flavored baijiu. The bottles are packaged in porcelain. Feitian Moutai represents Moutai as a messenger of diplomatic friendship. Previously exported abroad, it is now also available domestically. The 43% alcohol version generally costs around 739 yuan, while the 53% version costs over 1,499 yuan. Five Star Moutai, a symbol of the worker-peasant alliance of New China, is Moutai's original trademark. Previously sold exclusively domestically, it is now also available for export. Its domestic market price is the same as Feitian Moutai. While the Guizhou Moutai series of liquors is considered Moutai, they are considered Moutai series liquors and cannot be directly called Moutai. These include Wangmao, Huamao, and Laimao, as well as core products such as Guizhou Daqu, Renjiu, Hanjiang, Prince, and Yingbin.
