Dom Pérignon, the King of Champagne!

Dom Pérignon香檳王!

Dom Pérignon is a top-tier French champagne, renowned for its rarity and exceptional quality. It is a champagne brand under the LVMH Group.
Dom Pérignon's name comes from Pierre Pérignon, a Pinctada friar from the Champagne region in the 17th century ("Dom" being a title for the friar). He diligently studied and improved winemaking techniques within the monastery, eventually discovering the secret to creating a crisp, fragrant, and richly aromatic wine. His achievements are highly praised by posterity, and he is revered as the "Father of Champagne." So, what is his relationship with Dom Pérignon Champagne?

The world's first Dom Pérignon Champagne (1921 vintage) was released in 1936. However, until its release, Moët & Chandon hadn't decided on a name for this new Champagne. They consulted resources and found the trademark "Dom Pérignon" (acquired in 1927). Therefore, Dom Pérignon Champagne borrowed a name with a legendary history (the name of the "Father of Champagne") and attached it to a newly created Champagne, making this new Champagne stand out from the crowd. As they hoped, Dom Pérignon Champagne became an instant success upon its release, firmly establishing its status as the "King of Champagnes ."
Dom Pérignon is a vintage champagne. Vintage champagnes are made from grapes harvested in the same year, but Dom Pérignon is even more special; it only selects years with exceptionally high-quality grapes for production. If the grape quality is even slightly subpar, production is halted for that year.

This champagne is made only from plump grapes grown on old vines. Dom Pérignon has almost become synonymous with top-tier champagne. The production process of Dom Pérignon involves meticulous attention to detail in every step, from grape selection, pressing, blending to cellar aging. Each bottle of Dom Pérignon is made from grapes sourced entirely from eight Grand Cru vineyards and a Premier Cru vineyard in Autelville, France, using Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from the harvested vintages . The grapes are hand-harvested during the cool autumn months and then carefully aged for six to eight years.

When tasting Dom Pérignon Champagne, you're drinking its aged flavor! That is, the flavor of champagne that has been aged in the bottle for 6-8 years.
There is a kind of king of champagne called Dom Pérignon ;
Champagne is a celebratory drink and a date drink;
