What is the relationship between Krug Collection and a regular Krug Vintage?

Krug Collection is the later life of a small quantity of a specific Krug Vintage retained for further ageing in the house cellars. Note both the Collection designation and original Vintage year.

Can Krug Collection be treated as an older edition of Grande Cuvée?

No. Photograph the original Vintage year, Collection designation, Krug iD, front and back labels and original box, then build the item list from the complete name shown on the item.

What should be done if the first Krug Collection photographs are incomplete?

Keep the original Krug Collection label and add the requested views of the labels, seal, fill level, bottle base, leakage, original box and provenance documents. Label every new photograph; there is no need to resend the whole batch.

Should the Krug Collection Champagne bottle be left untreated before an in-person review?

No. Before arranging a review of the Krug Collection Champagne bottle, do not open the bottle to taste it, remove the seal, wash or reglue labels, or exchange the original box. Retain the present condition and photograph every flaw before handover.
