Official Macallan Edition Series pages document No. 1 through No. 6 individually. The six expressions differ by more than box colour: each has its own collaboration theme, cask-selection description and ABV. The official No. 6 page identifies it as the sixth and final release in the series.

Document every bottle individually

Field How to record it
Official name Transcribe Edition No. 1, No. 2 … No. 6; do not substitute box colour
ABV and volume Transcribe each bottle label; the official ABV can flag a mismatch but does not replace a full bottle check
Labels and bottle base Photograph the front and back labels, capsule, batch markings and bottle base separately
Packaging List the outer box, inner tray, booklet, stickers and market label separately; mark missing evidence as “not seen”
Provenance and condition Match purchase and handover records, closure, fill level, labels, glass and box condition to each bottle

A complete series and each bottle's version are separate questions

The six official names establish only that all six releases are represented. Whether they are the same market version, whether the accessories are original pairings, and whether the condition is comparable all depend on the labeling and source of each bottle. The ABV rises from 48.1% for No. 1 to 48.6% for No. 6. This can flag an initial mismatch but cannot authenticate a bottle by numbers alone.

  • When a bottle is missing, record the gap clearly; do not substitute another Macallan Edition or Concept expression.
  • Create a separate version record when the same expression differs in volume, market, back label or box components.
  • Compare the data to match expression, volume, accessories, condition, and date. This page does not provide price rankings.

Macallan Edition Series Frequently Asked Questions

Is No. 6 the final official release in the series?

Yes. The official No. 6 page identifies it as the sixth and final release in the Edition Series.

Do six bottles in one box establish an original full set?

No. Check the volume, ABV, back label, batch, box-to-bottle match and provenance of every bottle.

Can the sequential rise in ABV confirm all six expressions?

No. It can flag a mismatch only; the official name, labels, bottle base, volume, packaging and provenance must still be checked.

Primary sources and scope

An official page supports only the names, specifications and history stated there. The expression, release or variant, authenticity, accessories and condition of an individual bottle must still be checked separately.

Prepare verifiable records

When documenting Macallan Edition No. 1–6, assign every bottle a unique number and use it across the full view, front, back, key markings, accessories, provenance and visible anomalies. Do not infer details requiring physical inspection from similar online images. You can send a numbered list and clear photos via WhatsApp, or call +852 9453 0784. Making contact does not mean that an appraisal or quotation has been completed. Any conclusion remains subject to verifiable records and inspection of the item.
