Appraisal FAQ

How should Le Pin bottle and vintage details be checked when there is no regular second wine?

Photograph the Le Pin name, vintage, volume, front and back labels, neck and bottle base. Do not describe another Pomerol wine or similar packaging as a Le Pin second wine.

How should a full case and loose Le Pin bottles be photographed separately?

For the Le Pin bottle, photograph the wooden-case markings and bottle count first, then note the fill level, capsule and labels bottle by bottle. Do not place loose bottles in a case that does not correspond.

What happens after the first Le Pin bottle and case photographs are reviewed?

We will identify any missing label, capsule, fill-level or wooden-case view, then agree whether the bottle should be inspected in store, on site or at another suitable location.

What should be brought when Le Pin is handed over?

For the Le Pin, bring the item, original packaging, documents and every accessory shown in the photographs. Once the first Le Pin review is complete, name any unresolved bottle areas—the front label, back label, neck, fill level or base—and request only the corresponding photographs; retain every clear angle.
