Buyback Enquiry FAQ

These answers cover sending photographs, physical inspection and preparation before handover. Use the relevant service page for category-specific guidance.

Can I start with photographs?

Yes. Send overall views, front and back, plus the year or model, seals or markings, accessories and any defects. Photographs support only an initial review; final terms require an inspection of the item.

Which items can I enquire about?

Common categories include fine wine, whisky, baijiu, spirits, Champagne, sake, dried seafood, watches, cigars, silver dollars, coins, stamps, details and selected audio equipment. Whether we can handle an enquiry still depends on the items, quantity and location.

What if I do not know the year or model?

Do not guess. Photograph the labels, base, seals, serial numbers and packaging marks, and label the detail as unknown. Incorrect information slows the review.

Should I clean or repair anything before handover?

Usually not. Cleaning can alter wine labels, coin patina, watch cases, record sleeves and the surface of dried seafood. Keep each item in its current condition until it has been reviewed.

Do original boxes, certificates and receipts matter?

Accessories help establish edition, provenance and completeness. You can still enquire if something is missing, but photograph every box, certificate, warranty card, receipt and accessory that remains.

Can I bring items to the shop or arrange an on-site inspection?

Start by sending photographs and stating the quantity, item type and location. We can then discuss handover at the Hong Kong shop, an address in Hong Kong, or an agreed location in Hong Kong or Macau. No fixed arrangement is promised before the information has been reviewed.

How should fragile or heat-sensitive items be protected?

Fine wine, Champagne, sake, cigars, old paper items and audio equipment have different handling requirements. Describe the storage conditions, dimensions and any problems first, then confirm the packaging and moving method.

How do I submit several items?

Group them by category and number each item or box before photographing the overall view and key details. A list can note the brand, year or model, quantity, accessories and defects for an item-by-item response.
